Christina Ricci is Wednesday Addams to many of us, but she’s much more than that. In the span of her more than thirty-year career, we have seen her drown in an icy river (Mermaids), molest a younger boy (The Ice Storm), seduce a gay man (The Opposite of Sex), fight off her demons while chained to a radiator (Black Snake Moan), and hide dark secrets (Yellowjackets.) She has played dark, complicated female roles during a time when the entertainment industry sorely lacked them.
