Emily Sandberg in “Escape Artist”

Emily Sandberg has graced the covers of major magazines, including Vogue Italia, and starred in ad campaigns for luxury titans such as Marni and Fendi, walked the runway for Prada, Marc Jacobs, and Dolce & Gabbana—and the list of achievements goes on.

For “Escape Artist”, I asked the model to flex her writing skills by penning a diary for the character she created for this editorial: a captivating, elusive, and enigmatic fashion enthusiast who moved far away from the city under curious circumstances to live alone with a closet worthy of a Madison Avenue address.
