Jennifer Hudson's extraordinary journey from American Idol contestant to Oscar and Grammy winner personifies the American dream. For my photoshoot with Hudson, I collaborated with American Pop Artist Ashley Longshore.  Longshore’s recognizable style of unapologetic, bawdy, whimsical, and tongue-in-cheek paintings allowed Hudson’s playful side to take center stage. Longshore painted the latest runway looks onto my photos of Hudson, thus transforming her into a paper doll creating an unforgettable visual tale.
